Every Saint has a past and every sinner has a future for every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. The early days of being taken to work with you at Vickers on Scotswood Road were special, when you let me go in the Challenger tanks as a young kid, these were special times. And yes we may have taken different paths, but you were my dad, and the work ethic I inherited from you has made me the man I am today.

Dad the human heart, is a masterpiece of nature. When I look at the Cross in my study, and I see the arms of Jesus outstretched with his hands, and his 10 fingers, they remind me of 10 words of which all of us will benefit. Those words are what Jesus spoke to his friends when the fabric of life goes, the skin and bones it is your spirit that lives on through your Mary, your children, your grandchildren, Frankie, David, and Cath. Those words are "Remember I am with you until the end of time", and Dad until we meet again, you will be with us in spirit as what you left lives on ,
